Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed near Greenford tube station.
Officers were called to a "disturbance", in Oldfield Lane, just after 4pm on Wednesday (April 8).
A spokesman for the Met Police said: "We found a 15-year-old suffering stab injuries - not life-threatening.
"We are investigating it and we arrested two teenagers around the age of 15 for GBH."
Carole Connelly, who lives in Oldfield Lane South, said she had heard about a fight in which a boy had been stabbed.
She also said a friend had told her that a blood-stained knife had been found by police discarded on the pathway of a nearby front garden, however Scotland Yard say this was not something they wished to discuss due to "operational reasons".
Mrs Connelly added: "There's obviously a lot of activity in the park [Ravenor] because it's the Easter holidays but I'm not aware of hostile activity going on in the area [in general].
"I do not feel threatened or aware of of gangs or youths in the road I live in. We have not got gangs hanging around street corners."
The teenagers remained in custody on Thursday afternoon.
