A frightened woman was filmed while she was chased around a car park by a "killer clown" in Shepherd’s Bush.

Two men have been arrested following the incident, which happened at Westfield shopping centre car park on Monday (October 17).

It is the latest incident of the craze, which started in America, to be reported in west London, and follows a sighting of a clown at the Brunel University campus in Uxbridge which led to the arrest of a teenager.

The victim, aged 27, was said to be “terrified” by police.

Hammersmith and Fulham Police later tweeted “it’s not funny to terrify people”.

Police also charged a man with a public order offence after a person was seen in Hayes wearing a clown mask and carrying a suspected firearm .

The NSPCC said children have made calls to Childline about harassment from “creepy clowns” , as the frightful phenomenon continues to sweep the country.
