Three men from Harrow and Wembley have been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Officers investigating a string of armed robberies in north London made four arrests on Tuesday (November 28).

On Thursday (November 30), three men were charged and appeared at Hendon Magistrates' Court.

Harrow residents Anthony Wright, 38, of Weald Lane, and Dean Smith, 22, of High Street, appeared in court alongside Suleyman Karaylan, 40, of Bowater Road, Wembley.

All three defendants have been remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on January 2, 2018.

A fourth man arrested on November 28 has been released pending further investigation, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
