Two youths will stand trial in the new year accused of murdering teenager Folajimo Orebiyi.
The boys, aged 15 and 16, appeared at the Old Bailey during a hearing on Monday (September 26).
The 17-year-old victim, who was known to friends and family as Fola, died in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, on July 3 from stab wounds. His older brother later posted a heart-breaking post on Facebook, blaming himself for not being there to defend his younger sibling.
The two defendants had previously appeared at Hammersmith Youth Courts on July 7 accused of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Following their latest appearance in court they were remanded in custody. The trial is scheduled to begin on January 3 and is expected to last three weeks.
Two other boys, also aged 15 and 16, had also been arrested on suspicion of murder but have since been released and will face no further action.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are continuing with their investigation.
