South West Trains are reporting cancellations to services at Clapham Junction due to a 'trespass incident' at the station.

Services running to and from this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins - or may be diverted at short notice - until 11:15 this morning, SWT said on its website.

A spokesman said: "An earlier trespass incident at Clapham Junction means that services through the area were unable to operate. The issue has now been dealt with however please expect residual delays and alterations whilst we return the service to normal."

Inner London stations are said to be very busy as a result and commuters are being advised to consider alternative transport where SWT tickets will also be accepted: These include London Underground lines , the Victoria line from Vauxhall, District from Wimbledon and Richmond. You may be able to change on to Bakerloo, Jubilee & Northern lines to complete your journey to Waterloo. London Overground from Richmond and Clapham Junction via any reasonable route.
