A box of photo slides found in Northwood last month have been returned to their owner following an appeal online.
Police found the box, containing around 100 slides, near Green Lane in January, and launched an appeal to reunite them with their owner.
The pictures, which showed youngsters enjoying a family or school boating trip, and are believed to have been taken during the 1970s, have now been returned to their owner.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A number of people who contacted officers have also been able to rekindle old friendships."
