Do you recognise these men, who are wanted in connection with apparent racist abuse by Chelsea fans on the Paris Metro?

Police have released the images of three people believed to have been involved in the incident last Tuesday, February 17, in the run-up to Chelsea's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Amateur footage appeared to show fans on their way to the match stopping a black man from entering a tube carriage before shouting 'we're racist and that's the way we like it'.

All three men whose images are shown are thought by police to be Chelsea fans who were involved in the incident, which took place at Richelieu Drouot station at 7.10pm.

The photos were released on Friday as Chelsea FC announced it had suspended two further fans from Stamford Bridge as a result of ongoing investigations.

The club had already temporarily barred three people from attending games in the wake of the alleged abuse and says it will ban them for life should there be sufficient evidence of their involvement in the incident.

The Met Police are supporting an investigation by French detectives into the events of that evening. Anyone who believes they recognise the men is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
