Thousands of pounds worth of drugs have been stopped from reaching the streets of Hounslow.

Police seized a huge haul of cannabis as officers executed two warrants in the Feltham area on Monday (April 25).

A number of large clear bags of ‘green’ clusters can be seen bagged up in the photo taken by officers on the Feltham police team.

Also known as weed or pot on the streets and referred to as marijuana it is a Class B drug which carries a penalty for possession - up to five years in prison, an unlimited fine or both; and for production and supply - up to 14 years behind bars, unlimited fine or both.

One male, aged 31, and one female aged 21, were arrested and taken to a west London police station.

Both have been bailed to return to a date in June.

Hounslow police have also released an appeal for the public’s help to track down a number of wanted men in connection with burglary, assault and theft across the borough.

An urgent appeal was also launched after a woman was knocked out, tied up and was threatened with a firearm in a home burglary in Feltham.

Heston police are urging people in Cranford who may have witnessed a home burglary where a stash of gold jewellery was taken to get in touch via 101.
