An 18-year-old was stabbed in broad daylight in Hayes on Saturday afternoon (June 17).

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Woolacombe Way, near Station Road and High Street, at around 3.50pm to reports that a person had been stabbed.

The teenager was taken by London Air Ambulance to a central London hospital for treatment, where his injuries have been described as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made and Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident.
