A 17-year-old has been charged with affray and throwing fireworks after an incident in Southall on Thursday October 19.

Officers from Metropolitan Police were called to the Broadway at around 8.20pm following reports of youths throwing fireworks.

Following a short foot pursuit, a 17-year-old boy was arrested for affray and throwing fireworks.

A spokesman for Southall Broadway MPS later confirmed he has now been charged with both offences.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is set to appear at Ealing Magistrates' Court on November 21.
