Auditions are set to begin shortly for Star Wars : Episode IX and you might be able to bag yourself some on-screen time as an extra.

According to moviecastingcall.org , casting directors are setting up auditions for new lead and supporting roles and filming will be taking place at the Pinewood Studios and surrounding areas.

To apply you must have legal eligibility to work in the entertainment industry in London and in the United Kingdom.

J.J. Abrams, who launched a new era of Star Wars with Episode VII: The Force Awakens in 2015, returns to complete the sequel trilogy as writer and director of the next exciting film.

Abrams will co-write Episode IX with Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio.

Production for the film is due to begin in February 2018, with a release date of December 20, 2019.

Abrams was announced as the director following the departure of the film’s original director Colin Trevorrow, who had previously helmed Jurassic World.
