For the record, the stadium is designed by celebrated Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron , who created the Beijing Olympic Bird’s Nest Stadium and Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena in Germany, and is inspired by Westminster Cathedral.
