Police have been called to a stabbing in Southall.

Acton Central Police said on Sunday (June 4) it was called to Southall Park at around 11.50am.

Officers posted a tweet saying they were attending the incident.

Police said on Twitter: "Our first call is to a stabbing in Southall. #EnRoute."

Getwestlondon has approached Metropolitan police for more information.

Male received 'six-inch slash' across chest

Acton Central Police said the victim received a “six-inch” slash across his chest.

It confirmed there have been no arrests so far.

Two men remain on the loose

Police said the two men who were involved in an altercation with the victim are on the loose.

Man receives 'superficial slash to chest'

A Met police spokesman said: “Police were called at approx 11:50hrs on Sunday, 4 June to a park in Southall following reports that a man had been stabbed.

“Officers arrived on the scene and discovered a man who had received a superficial slash wound to his chest following an altercation with two other men.

“The man was assessed by London Ambulance Service at the scene and did not require hospitalisation.

“Officers searched the park and the two other men were not identified.

“No arrests.

“Enquiries continue.”
