A 21-year-old charged with shooting Khalid Abdi Farah dead in Southall appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (December 6).

Malique Thompson was charged over the fatal shooting of the 26-year-old in Southall on November 11.

He appeared at the Central Criminal Court for a bail application hearing on Wednesday where his application was rejected.

He is charged with murder and remains in custody with his next court appearance due on February 21.

The trial is due to begin on May 8.

Mr Farah died after he was shot in the chest as he sat in a car in Lady Margaret Road.

London Ambulance Service attended the scene and Mr Farah was taken to a central London hospital where he died at 3.32am.
