The Metropolitan Police arrested two males on suspicion of religiously aggravated threats to kill in Southhall, during Muslim celebrations.

The arrests, which happened in The Broadway, at 12.06am on Sunday, June 25, were made as residents were taking part in Eid al-Fitr, which is when Muslims mark the end of Ramadan.

A spokesman for the police said: "Both males were taken to Wembley custody and have both been released under investigation with enquiries ongoing."
