Police are to examine CCTV footage after a man was stabbed to death in Southall on Tuesday (March 28).

Officers have visited a row of shops in Dudley Road as part of the investigation after being called at around 3.30pm to Featherstone Road to reports of a stabbing .

A 27-year-old man was taken from the scene to hospital where he died the following morning (Thursday March 29) at around 3.45am.

A staff member at Buur business centre in Dudley Road, who did not wish to be named, said: "I wasn't there yesterday, but police had come to speak to my colleague who was working, he was inside when it happened and so he didn't see anything.

"But there was officers here asking people if they knew what had happened."

The man's next of kin have been informed and no arrests have yet been made.

A second male, aged 31, received minor stab injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital.

Detectives are investigating and appealing for information.
