A man in his late 30s died in hospital after being discovered by paramedics with a stab wound in a Southall street.

The victim, an Asian man, was found by London Ambulance Service staff at just before 7.50pm last night in Trinity Road.

He was taken to hospital but passed away at 11.45pm.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and no arrests have been made.

The man's next of kin have been informed and no formal identification has been made.

A post-mortem examination is to follow.

The attack follows another stabbing in Hayes on Monday when a 24-year-old woman was stabbed in what police called an attempted robbery.
