Security : A die-hard aviation enthusiast with knowledge in aircraft maintenance and working in a LEAN environment. To pass through with flying colours a degree, preferably in engineering, and considerable experience at senior management level within the aerospace or similar environment. Boarding : With experience in working for a company with in excess of 100 staff you will also need to excellent communication skills and leadership skills, knowledge of Health and Safety working practices and use of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.

Take off : All set? Then you could earn between £60,000 to £70,000.

Security Officer - Heathrow

With more than 200,000 passengers passing through our terminals every day, safety and security is among the most important jobs at the airport.

Check in: With one of the full-time or part-time positions available for both men and women with shifts to work around you.

Security: To pass through you will have to go through a four week training period including two weeks at the head office, followed by two weeks in a training shift pattern to get to grips with the role and the operation. On completion you begin your shift on a part-time basis at Terminal 4 or full-time basis at Terminal 5, working four days on, two days off.

Boarding : Prepare to "make every journey better" with your helpful attitude, great customer service skills and an understanding nature.

Take off: If you fit the bill then you will get off to a flying start on a salary of £21,930 (pro rata) plus a range of benefits.

Security: You must have a minimum of three years UK residence, pass a Counter Terrorism Check and have a five year checkable reference history.

Boarding: With Omniserv Services, a contractor for the airline, offering aircraft cleaning jobs.

Take off: Join the payroll starting at £7.50 per hour increasing to £8.
