Detectives investigating the murder of Che Labastide-Wellington in Kenton have charged six men on Thursday (February 11) in connection with the case.

The men charged include: Rimmel Williams, 18, of Churchill Road, NW2; Marlon Tudor, 23, of no fixed address; Omar Afrah, 22, of Walton Avenue, Wembley, and a 17-year-old boy from Acton.

The four men have been charged with: The murder of Che Labastide-Wellington; wounding with intent, in relation to the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy; conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and conspiracy to commit violent disorder.

Further, a 15-year-old boy from Willesden has been accused of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

All five will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Friday (February 12).

A 14-year-old boy from Brent has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He has been bailed to appear Hendon Magistrates' Court, also on Friday (February 12).

Previously, a further eight men had been arrested in connection with the murder.

Calvin Tudor, 21, was charged with murder. He is currently remanded in custody following a plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey on Tuesday February 2. A provisional trial date at the court has been scheduled for Monday April 25.

Walker Sesay, 18, charged with murder and attempted murder, is also remanded in custody, also with provisional trial date scheduled for Monday April 25.

A 16-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder will have no further action taken against him.

An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed to a date in mid March pending further enquiries.

A further four men - 21, 19, 28 and 16 respectively - all remain on bail pending further enquires.
