Police have released an image of a crumpled car following a collision in Greenford earlier this month.
Ealing Metropolitan Police took to Twitter to post a picture of the battered blue vehicle on November 6, following the collision on the A40 junction with Hicks Avenue.
The vehicle had its roof cut off by the emergency services.
Officers arrested John Barber, of William Close, Southall, before charging him with drink driving in connection with the incident.
The 50-year-old is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on November 22.
