The search is on once again to find the borough’s most talented superstar as Hounslow Has Talent 2016 is launched.
The contest gives people of all ages a chance to shine in the spotlight and show off their skills whether its in singing, dancing, gymnastics, magic or any other hidden talents.
Whether yours is a solo act, duet, or group upload a video featuring a show-stopping performance on YouTube by Friday April 29, for a chance to be shortlisted to the auditions stage.
Organisers Ruth Wood from Feltham Arts Association and Ray Coleman, club secretary at Feltham Bees Disabled Sports Club, are keen to see what people in the borough have in store for them this year.
Ms Wood said: “We just can’t wait for Hounslow Has Talent 2016. There is such phenomenal talent in the borough and it is great to see people of all ages coming together for this spectacular local talent showcase bringing performance, dance and singing to the heart of Hounslow.”
Selected entrants will be invited to the auditions stage due to be held at Feltham Community College in the drama studio on Saturday May 21.
The numbers will be whittled down from here to 12 acts who will battle it out in the final for a top prize of £500.
The final will be held at the Paul Robeson Theatre with a special performance from last year’s winner Alicia Wilkins, as well as another showstopper from Society Dance Crew, on Saturday June 4 from 7pm.
All money raised will go to Hounslow Mayor Nisar Malik's charity of the year Hounslow Toy Library.
