Londoners are in for another heatwave as sizzling temperatures are expected on Tuesday (September 12).
Those in the city will enjoy highs of 31 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Office, making it one of the hottest September days London has had in over 40 years.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Any early patchy mist and fog will soon clear, then staying dry with bright or sunny spells.
"It will become hot inland, but remain cooler along the coast, while feeling humid everywhere."
Early September saw meteorologists predict the hottest autumn the country has had in 67 years thanks to hot tropical air arriving in the UK from ex-Hurricane Gaston.
