Festivities are well under way in Hounslow High Street following an afternoon of merriment at the Treaty Centre over the weekend.

A cheery robin on roller skates and an eight-foot stilt-walking reindeer handed out candy canes as they paraded around the Treaty Centre stopping to pose for photos with shoppers on Sunday (November 20).

Children were also overjoyed by the mischievous balloon art street performers Balloonatic Elves, who created festive balloons including reindeer and Christmas hats for the youngsters to take home with them.

Adding an extra dash of seasonal cheer was the selfie mirror set up beside the Christmas tree.

There were plenty of props from wigs to festive outfits to get dressed up in and take a photo.

Meanwhile Santa was in his grotto with the elves taking all-important present requests from children.
