Police are investigating allegations of road rage after an altercation between two motorists on Tuesday (October 18).

It happened in Rockley Road in Shepherd’s Bush with Hammersmith and Fulham Police now appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

Officers say an argument broke out when a blue Citroën Picasso allegedly blocked the road at around 2.30pm.

A woman driving a white VW Polo remonstrated and a heated altercation ensued, which ended with the female driver being spat at in the face, it has been reported.

Along with a male passenger in her car, she gave chase on foot, following the Citroën, which had started to drive off. The car was then kicked numerous times, causing extensive damage to the body work.

Police say they have identified the parties involved who will be formally interviewed at Shepherd’s Bush police station.
