Cyclists will hit the streets of London and Surrey this month for the annual RideLondon-Surrey event.

The challenge will see more than 100,000 participants - both professionals and amateurs - take part in seven different events over the weekend.

This will have an impact on traffic in large parts of London and Surrey - particularly on Sunday (July 30).

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 46, and Classic will take place on Sunday.

Roads used by the event will be closed so that cyclists can pass through the area.

Cyclists in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 46 and Classic events will travel through west London on the outbound route, from Hyde Park Corner to Chiswick Bridge, and again on the inbound journey towards the finish, crossing Putney Bridge and travelling along Chelsea Embankment.

Motorists are advised that the A4 eastbound between Hogarth Roundabout and Warwick Road at Earls Court will remain open throughout the day.
