This picture shows the damage caused by a fire in Richmond on Tuesday evening (August 15).
Four fire engines, and 21 firefighters and officers, were called to the fire at a semi detached house in Terrace Lane on Tuesday (August 15) evening.
Properties on the affluent cul-de-sac, near Terrace Gardens, fetch an average of £1.13million with some estimated at more than £2million.
The London Fire Brigade was called just before 5pm and took nearly one hour to declare the fire under control at 5.58pm.
A LFB spokesman said: "Half of the first floor of the property was damaged by fire.
"Fire crews from Richmond, Kingston and Twickenham fire stations attended the scene.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation."
