Residents are being invited to view the latest plans for the western section of the Kodak redevelopment site at a public forum on June 14 and 15.

The drop-in session will provide the public with the opportunity to view the latest proposals and ask questions to the project team before Persimmon submit a revised planning application to Harrow Council in summer 2016.

Persimmon Homes will be holding the drop-in sessions at their marketing suite on the Harrow View West development site, at Harrow View between 4.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday June 14 and between 2pm and 4pm on June 15.

Persimmon was granted detailed planning consent by Harrow Council to redevelop the site for housing last year and is now consulting residents on an amended scheme, which would see around 600 new homes be built.

Plans include affordable homes, a Green Link to connect Harrow, Wealdstone and the wider area, a mix of children’s play and recreation areas and landscaped public open space.

A spokesperson from Persimmon Homes North London, said: “Harrow View West is a key redevelopment site in the ‘Heart of Harrow’ growth zone.

"Our revised plans will help Harrow to meet its growing housing needs, while continuing to provide investment in community facilities and public open space.

“We are looking forward to updating local residents on the next phase in our exciting regeneration plans”.

Harrow View West is located in the heart of Harrow Housing Zone, a major investment initiative that was unveiled last year by the Greater London Authority and work to start the first phase of the consented scheme at Harrow View West is now underway, with the first of the new homes becoming available to new residents in the coming months.

Last month, Police removed a group of around 12 caravans and 40 "unlawful occupiers" from the Kodak site after the area was left damaged by the occupiers.
