Emergency services flooded into Westfield in Shepherd's Bush after a man was stabbed on Friday (August 5).
Police said they were called to the shopping centre at around 2pm.
A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital, where police said an initial assessment showed his injuries were not life-threatening.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
Police say officers retain an open mind as to the motive, but they are confident the incident is not terror-related.
Part of the shopping centre, in the area next to the Ted Baker, Hugo Boss and Mulberry shops, was cordoned off following the stabbing.
But a spokesperson for Westfield said at 6.40pm that the centre was fully open again.
A shop assistant at the scene, who asked not to be named, told getwestlondon: "I'm not surprised. The area has been getting worse and worse."
