Putney Pusher: New image of jogger released by police after woman shoved into path of bus

The newly released image was captured by cameras on the bus which narrowly avoided driving into a pedestrian

Police have released a new image of the jogger they wish to speak to after a woman was pushed in front to a bus while walking on Putney Bridge.

A video of the "Putney Pusher" incident on May 5 was captured on camera, and shows a bus being driven by Oliver Salbris swerving to narrowly avoid hitting the fallen 33-year-old pedestrian.

The new CCTV image is taken from the route 430 bus which nearly crashed into the victim.

The incident happened at 7.40am as the woman walked towards the Fulham side of the crossing.

Mr Salbris, who has been praised for his quick reflexes, stopped the bus to check on the woman, and said she was shocked and in tears .

Around 15 minutes after the incident, the jogger returned in the opposite direction on the bridge.

The woman tried to speak to him, but police say he failed to acknowledge her and carried on jogging towards the Fulham side of the river.
