A missing pets charity is appealing to the public for help to find a cat who went missing from his Hanworth home a week ago.

Gizmo who is microchipped disappeared on Thursday (February 11), from his home in South Road, Hanworth, and has not been seen since, according to Animal Search UK .

If anyone spots the black and white male cat with long fur they are urged to take him to his local vet Alpha Vets in Stanley Road, Teddington, where he can be scanned and reunited with his owner.

Gizmo is known to take regular walks which see him go to the area around Oak Avenue towards Hampton and to the nature reserve south of South Road.

It is believed he may have been feeling unwell and also been frightened by building work going on nearby.

On behalf of Gizmo’s owner, the organisation is urging people to check their garage and shed in case he has been locked in.
