Princess Charlotte, the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will attend nursery school in Kensington .

Prince William and Catherine announced the two-year-old will start at Willcocks Nursery School in Prince Consort Road, close to their Kensington Palace home, in January.

A spokesman for the school said: “We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte.

“We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.”

Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the throne after Prince Charles, Prince William and her big brother Prince George.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently expecting their third child in April 2018.

On Thursday (December 14) the couple attended the Grenfell Tower Memorial Service along with Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, and Prince Harry.
