A pop-up café in Gunnersbury Park was destroyed by a fire following a suspected arson attack on Monday (July 25).

London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to the mobile catering unit at 4.38am where the blaze caused 90% damage to the unit.

There were two gas cylinders inside the unit but these are not being linked to the fire, which was under control by 5.30am.

Met police said the incident is being treated as a suspected arson attack, but have so far not made any arrests.

It took two fire engines and 10 firefighters to put out the blaze.

In April this year a man died following a suspected arson attack in Southall.

Three men were arrested by Met police in connection with the attack and are due to return from bail in September.
