Police are looking for a man they wish to speak to after a woman was attacked with a bike lock in an attempted robbery in Westminster.

Officers at Westminster CID are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Aaron Sinclair, originally from Scotland, who turns 26 on Sunday (January 31), in connection with the investigation.

The incident involved a woman who was walking and using her mobile phone, when a man approached from behind her and put a bike lock around her neck.

The woman fought back and the man ran away.

The incident happened on Ecclestone Road, on November 12 at around 1.30am.

Metropolitan Police are warning the public not to approach him if he is seen but to call the police on 999.

Sinclair has links to London, Surrey and Hampshire.
