Concerns have grown over the disappearance of a vulnerable missing woman last reported to be in Hounslow.

Officers in the borough are appealing for the public's help to find Xiao Qian Yin, a Chinese national, last seen by her boyfriend 10 days ago on Sunday (February 12) in Tooting.

The 36-year-old female had said she was going to an address in Hounslow to work.

There has been no communication from her since she was last in touch on Wednesday (February 15).

Xiao was reported missing to the police on Tuesday (February 21).

She is described as 5ft 4inches tall of slim build with long, dark shoulder length hair.

She is known to frequent Tooting, Hounslow and Barking areas.

Police are very concerned for her welfare and urge anyone who can help to get in touch.

Detective Sergeant Jamie Hunter of Hounslow CID, said: "Let me assure Xiao, or anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts, that our only concern is her safety and wellbeing.

"We can be contacted in complete confidence and can offer help and support.

“We are concerned for Xiao's welfare and would ask anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible, so we can ensure that she is safe."
