Police have released an image of two men disguised as couriers involved in a horrific attack on a woman in her home in Feltham.

Detectives from Hounslow CID are appealing for information through BBC Crimewatch Roadshow on Monday (June 6) to hunt down the duo who are seen walking with a parcel to an address in Fruen Road.

The pair forced their way in, knocked out, tied up and threatened a woman in her 40s with a firearm in the daylight burglary at around midday on April 19, before they made with a large quantity of cash.

Suspect one is of medium build and was wearing a light-grey hooded top, with the hood up and a high visibility vest.

The second suspect is described as around 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build, wearing a brown UPS delivery service jacket and brown cap.

Detective Constable James Dickson Leach, from Hounslow CID, said: “The suspects posed as if they were delivering a parcel to get the victim to open the door prior to attacking her.

“We would like to remind everyone to exercise appropriate caution when answering the door, especially if parcels are not expected. The suspects were last seen heading into Westmacott Drive.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have information that can assist our investigation.”

A spokesperson for UPS added: “UPS was informed about the incident which occurred in the Hounslow area involving someone misusing a UPS uniform and is fully cooperating with local authorities.

“As a matter of safety and security it is prudent to ask for an ID from any delivery personnel if you are in doubt.”

Anyone with information should call Hounslow CID on 020 8247 6160 or via 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
