Police are appealing for help to identify a man in connection with an assault and two robberies on a night bus travelling towards Brent.

Officers from the Brent Safer Transport team have released CCTV footage and an image of the suspect in his 20s described as Middle Eastern with short dark hair and a goatee beard, wearing a camouflage hat and dark clothing.

A 44-year-old man was waiting to get off the N18 bus from Piccadilly towards Wembley , when the suspect punched him in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose.

The suspect got off the bus but got back on armed with an object and attempted to attack the victim, who used his rucksack to protect himself.

The incident happened on June 11 2015, at around 4.40am, and the victim did not require medical treatment.

Passengers shouted at the suspect who then ran away.

Moments later, two other passengers, aged 24 and 28, got off the same bus and were assaulted and robbed of their mobile phones, apparently by the same suspect.

The 24-year-old victim was taken to hospital suffering cuts to his head, which required stitches.
