Police have launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in Kenton .

Met Police , London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance were called to Belvedere Way, Kenton, at 12.36am on Sunday, November 8 following reports of a stabbing.

According to Met Police, officers and paramedics attended and found a 17-year-old man suffering from a stab injury to the chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.30am and next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course and formal identification awaits.

Another teenage man, aged 16, was also found with stab injuries and has been taken to a north London hospital for treatment. His condition is reportedly stable.

Two men have reportedly been arrested on suspicion of murder and both remain in custody at separate north London police stations.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command investigates and work continues to establish the motive for this incident.
