Police have launched an investigation after a man was seriously assaulted in West Kensington.

According to Metropolitan Police , officers were called at 2.06pm on Thursday, November 5 to North End Road, near to the junction with Star Road.

London Ambulance Service also attended the scene, just just outside North End Medical Centre and found a man, aged 23, with a number of stab injuries.

The man was taken to hospital where he reportedly remains in a stable condition.

Ms Maria Moore, a receptionist at the centre, explained: “He was stabbed in the front and back, and fell against the window. God bless him – if he hadn’t bashed against the front door and we hadn’t come out to investigate, he’d be dead now.

“Members of the public called the ambulance while my doctors tended to him. Thank God there were doctors there [inside the centre].”

Officers from Trident and Area Crime Command are currently investigating and work is underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

At this time, one man aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with this ongoing investigation and enquiries continue into the involvement of others.

Enquiries to establish the motive for this incident continue.
