British Transport Police (BTP) has launched an appeal to trace a man who was assaulted during an altercation at Bond Street Tube station.

The incident occurred at around 2.20am, during the Night Tube services, on Saturday March 25.

A man and a 45-year-old woman were struck walking through the station corridors, police said.

Police attended the altercation and arrested a 58-year-old man from Beaconsfield on suspicion of common assault.

He was later released on police bail to return on Thursday April 20.

As a result of the assault, the victims received minor injuries.

The alleged male victim has yet to make contact with police and officers are now keen to trace him.

Police are also urging witnesses and anyone else who was at the station at the time to come forward.
