An appeal has been launched after a 16-year-old boy went missing after recently moving to Brent .

Mohamed Nowarey, of Shoot Up Hill, was last seen wearing a grey quilted jacket and a navy beanie hat, on Sunday (June 11) at 7.15am.

Mohamed is a Lybian national and is described as approximately 5ft 8 inches tall, has short, dark hair and a faint moustache.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Mohamed has only recently arrived in London and is not thought to have any friends or family in the city.

"He cannot speak English and officers are concerned for his welfare."

Anyone who has seen Mohamed or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact officers from the Central North Command Unit on 101 or call the charity Missing People on 116000.
