A second man has been charged with the murder of a Sukhjinder Singh , who was stabbed and killed in Southall.

Palwinder Multani, from Tudor Road in Hayes , was arrested on Thursday (October 6) and charged on Friday (October 7) with the murder of the popular 33-year-old , who also known as Gurinder Singh.

Multani, 35, was additionally charged with assisting an offender. He will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (October 8).

Mr Singh was found injured on Spikes Bridge Road at 11.12pm on July 30. He was taken to hospital but died the following day.

Amandeep Sandhu, from Townsend Road in Southall , was charged with Mr Singh’s murder on August 7.

A pre-trial preparation hearing is scheduled for the October 26 and a provisional trial date has been set for the January 16 next year.

Four men, aged 24, 28, 29 and 36 years, have rebailed to a date in early November while police continue with their investigations.
