Police are understood to be investigating a possible stabbing which took place following a party at a church hall.

The incident is believed to have taken place close to Holy Trinity Church Hall, in Medway Drive, Perivale , late yesterday (Friday, October 23) evening.

It is not known at this stage whether a knife or other weapon was involved, or the extent of any injuries. getwestlondon has contacted police and is awaiting further details.

Greenford & Perivale Neighbourhood Watch posted a message on its Facebook page on Saturday, saying: " Ealing police are investigating a serious incident that took place in Perivale on Friday night.

"According to a local source, a stabbing took place during a party at the Holy Trinity Church Hall in Medway Village."

The manager of the church hall, who declined to give his name, told getwestlondon the incident had not taken place at the hall itself and he did not know if it was related to the party.

He said he understood it had happened a couple of streets away from the hall, in which he believed a birthday party was being held that night.
