A boy aged 16 has died after being stabbed in Notting Hill .

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance tried to resuscitate the teen on Sunday (July 3) evening but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services were called to Portobello Road at around 8.45pm. The boy’s next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Ambulance crew implemented first aid and CPR but were unable to save the victim.

Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

No arrests have been made.

The stabbing comes less than a week after another teen was stabbed outside a bus station in Hammersmith. He was taken to hospital on June 27 but his injuries are not described as life threatening.
