A man has been charged after alleged sexual assaults were carried out on women in Harrow and Ealing .

Sinthujaan Yoganathan was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault on Tuesday (August 16).

The charges followed a reported sexual assaults in Ealing on July 3, and Harrow on July 10, and an attempted sexual assault in Ealing on July 17.

The 31-year-old, of St Margaret's Avenue, Harrow, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (August 16).

Met police had earlier launched an investigation into the sexual assault in Eastcote Lane which occurred on July 10.

Officers were called to reports of a sexual assault at around 2am, with the incident occurring between 1.15am and 1.50am that morning.

A 35-year-old woman was approached by a man at the location and sexually assaulted.
