Police were back at Wormwood Scrubs this week to charge an inmate with theft.
Sgt James Burgess, the neighbourhood sergeant for Brook Green and Addison, tweeted to his followers that his team were at the jail last week to charge a prisoner.
It is not known what the item or items taken were, or if the victim was a fellow inmate at the Du Cane Road prison, near White City.
It comes after a difficult week for the prison, which saw staff walk out over safety concerns on May 6.
When they returned to work two people were badly assaulted and taken to hospital after being attacked by a prisoner on May 8.
Last month a report into the prison heavily criticised the living conditions for prisoners .
