Police are investigating an incident in Fulham where a person claimed to be threatened with acid and a knife.

Officers were called to Wandsworth Bridge Road at around 5pm on Wednesday (January 18) to reports of a stabbing.

However, when they arrived they found no one hurt.

But a victim did tell police they had been threatened with acid and a knife.

The Met Police said a bottle found at the scene has been seized, with its contents being examined.

The Met said it is treating the incident as attempted GBH.

Any witnesses or people with information are asked to call police on 101 or send a tweet using @MetCC.
