Police are appealing for information to trace a man who has absconded while on escorted leave from a mental health unit in Ealing .
Amardeep Sahota, 40, was last seen at around 11.30am on Thursday (May 12) at the Broadway on Uxbridge Road in Ealing.
He has been receiving treatment at the mental health unit after being detained under sections 37 and 41 of the Mental Health Act and can be violent.
He is described as an Asian male with a stocky build, 5ft 9ins tall and is bald. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a blue jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.
He is believed to be in the Luton area.
