Hillingdon detectives have launched an investigation after a fight at a football club in Harefield on Friday night (June 10) when a man allegedly had a van driven at him.

Officers were called to Harefield United Football Club just before 9pm in Breakspear Road North to reports that a fight had broken out, described by the ambulance service as a 'mass brawl' .

When they arrived on the scene, police found the fighting had stopped but four people had suffered injuries, including a 44-year-old man who reported injuries as a result of a van driving at him.

A 30-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service for intoxication before being taken to separate hospitals.

Police also stopped a 51-year-old woman near the scene but she declined medical attention.

No arrests have been made in relation to the incident but police are appealing for all witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.55pm on June 10 to reports of a mass brawl near Gilbert Road, Harefield.

"We sent ambulance crews, a single responder by car and an incident response officer to the scene.

"We treated two men at the scene for intoxication and took them to hospital."
