A Pinner man has earned his moment of fame after millions of people watched his dad dancing moves in a viral video on Youtube.

Simon Jones became an internet sensation with his flawless dad dancing moves at a Vamps gig in Thorpe Park.

Since posting the video online a day after the band's show on Saturday night (July 18), the video has been viewed more than 2m times.

After the success of the video, the dad dancer was invited back to Thorpe Park to create a dad dancing tips video.

Simon said: “I was gobsmacked at the response – I try to have fun when I dance and love that I have been given the opportunity to make people smile, and give them some tips on how to enjoy themselves with my moves too.”

The dancing dad has since appeared on This Morning on ITV.

While it was thought that Simon was just a random guy dancing away at the concert, Mirror Online this week revealed that he is a professional movie and theatre actor.

Simon starred in director Tom Hooper's film Les Miserables, which featured Hollywood stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway, as a double for a pimp and he has appeared in a number of theatre productions, such as Wizard of Oz and Aladdin.
