A road in White City was closed for several hours after a car rolled on its roof.

Bloemfontein Road was shut after the BMW was involved in a collision on Friday (May 12).

It was closed to traffic for approximately three hours.

Reports emerged on Twitter of a large police presence in the area, while the 228 and 283 were subject to delays and diversions due to the incident.

Hammersmith and Fulham Police said shortly after 9pm that the road was closed, and it opened at 12.30am on Saturday (May 13).

The police confirmed a male had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
